How it works
Striate+™ has a bilayer structure consisting of a rough and smooth side. The smooth side of Striate+™ is placed facing the oral cavity to prevent gingival soft tissue from growing into the defect space during bone healing. The rough side, placed facing the defect, provides a favourable environment for new bone growth. Striate+™ remains in situ long enough for bone regeneration to occur before being resorbed into the surrounding tissue, and a second procedure to remove the membrane is not required.

Striate+™ collagen membranes is
a non-crosslinked, acellular Type I collagen that does not induce abnormal inflammatory responses. The proprietary SMRT* manufacturing process used in the creation of the membrane is free from crosslinking or chemical modification, which helps to preserve the collagen structure while removing all traces of DNA and immunogenic contaminants. This process creates an ideal environment for optimal tissue regeneration.
